Taking a break from observing nebulae in Orion to look at Castor in Gemini, a double star, really neat
In 12mm the two stars of Castor, α Gem, 66 Gem are HIP 36850A at Mag 1.93 and the only slightly fainter HIP 36850B at Mag 2.97
Both of a similar colour, appear to me to be very white and sitting in an otherwise quite sparse FOV in 12mm
