Globular Cluster in Aquarius
NGC 7089
Mag 6.3

GC class II

Tighter and more compact than M15, starting to resolve in 12mm, at least at outer edges

Comparing Globular Clusters
Large bright core but rapidly fades away from centre

Similar to M15 in size and appearance but slightly less dense core?

Really tight and bright Globular Cluster
Just a hint of resolution of outer stars in 12mm where it is a bright ball in an otherwise sparse starfield low down on the horizon

About the same magnitude as M15, observed just before M2
Mag 6.50 compared to Mag 6.40 for M15 but appears fainter, with more of a fuzzy ball centre
This could just be that it sits much lower on the horizon and it is certainly rather hazy
