Spiral Galaxy in Coma Berenices

The Black Eye Galaxy

Big and bright, a real hint of shape
It is a spiral?

A hint of the dust lane which gives M64 the name The Black Eye Galaxy is visible in 12mm, otherwise a rather diffuse and hazy Galaxy but easy to locate

AN's object of the month for April
Unfortunately, just as I located it the clouds rolled in!
No chance for a detailed look, but large and ragged with a hint of the dust lane that gives it it's name when viewed in 8mm
Worth another look when the sky is clearer
